USSAAC (the United States Society for Augmentative and Alternative Communication), wishes the people of Florida, the Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, Texas and California who were impacted by the hurricanes and fires of 2017 a Happy Thanksgiving. We hope you will spread the word that this site is able to assist people with severe communication challenges to recover the communication devices they lost as a result of one of these incidents. We are grateful to all those who have offered to help and to those who have reached out. Thanks to our volunteers who work with those with communication challenges impacted on the ground and to the many people engaged in a broad national effort to assist people with disabilities, as well as those with access and functional needs.
