While we await hurricane Florence.... PLEASE SPREAD THE WORD TO THOSE IMPACTED BY 2017 NO. CA WILDFIRES
You are invited to participate in a study of the experience of children with disabilities and their families during and after the 2017 Northern California Wildfires being conducted by Dr. Elizabeth McAdams Ducy of Sonoma State University.
Do you meet all of the following criteria? a)You are the parent or legal guardian of a child with a disability,
b)Your family was affected by the October 2017 Sonoma County fires,
c)Your child was aged 3-21 at the time of the fires,
d)Your child experienced a disruption in special education services due to the fires.
• The study involves a 60-90 minute face to face interview with a possible 30 minute follow up phone interview.
• Parents and guardians will be interviewed. Children WILL NOT be involved in this study.
• You will receive a $40 gift card for your participation.
