AAC Disaster Relief responds to nationally declared disasters on behalf of USSAAC members, people who use AAC, their families, and other AAC stakeholders. USSAAC works collaboratively with other organizations to replace AAC tools and devices that are lost or damaged because of a nationally declared disaster. To: Agencies/Individuals Responding to Helene Recovery Assistance for Impacted AAC Users

The United States Society for Augmentative and Alternative Communication has the capacity to restore lost or damaged communication aids for victims of disasters who rely on AAC supports. USSAAC is responding to requests equipment for people who use AAC and have lost their communication tools/technologies. We are also aware that many people in need are probably not aware of us. Please forward the attached USSAAC Flyer to any agencies or individuals you believe might benefit from knowing about this help.
